LOVE POEM

Love.....

The answer to my lonely prayer
The echo of my souls
The ocean of my dessert
And the fountain for my thirst.

It is a treasure and gratitude;
within my heart a gem and a pot of gold.
Share and experience good attitude,
of love, peace, and beauty to hold

For others it is a solution for their aching heart,
An answer to their mourning soul.
But for me, love is my companion in darkest night,
my light and my salvation.

My Only Crush

A Tangled Web

Book Review

Introduction
Each day we stand on top of yesterday, reaching back a week, a month, and years, perhaps, to pluck out memories that give us assurance of our place in the world and a foundation for tomorrow. There are always compartments and hidden places where we allow some people in and keep others out; our lives are tangled webs of secrets and deceptions.
“A Tangled Web “unfolds a worth remembering story about love, family, contentment, sacrifices and deceptions. How can these two women dream about what they might have been, if they had made different choices, lived a different life. In this story, two women boldly chose to lived that dream. How Sabrina and Stephanie can cope with these kinds of tragic and heartrending things in their life? Will forgiveness, sacrifice and love prevail? Or deception and fraud take the most out of it?
Their Story
A tangled Web is about two identical twins named Sabrina and Stephanie Longworth. Stunning and adventurous Sabrina married and divorced with a wealthy English aristocrat named Denton. She now runs a successful antiques business in London. While her quiet, homemaker sister Stephanie married a scientist and university professor named Garth Andersen. She stays at home in the suburbs with their two children namely Penny and Cliff and envies her sister’s jet set lifestyle. Stephanie has everything in her life, an adorable children and a loving husband that Sabrina lacks. But in spite of this, Stephanie’s desire for a more exciting life is putting a strain on her marriage. The deception started when Sabrina and Stephanie joined the group of antique dealers on the trip to China, and while they were there, away from everything familiar, Stephanie – it was Stephanie, the less adventurous one, who thought of changing places. They both agreed to switch their identity for a week. Sabrina went home as Stephanie and Stephanie went to Sabrina’s home in London as a divorced single. No one except Garth knows the true identity of Sabrina Longworth, despite of this she forgives Sabrina. Garth did not like Sabrina when they first met. But Sabrina easily adjusts to Stephanie’s home life, and gets to know and like Garth. On the other hand, Stephanie finds out that she is good in antique business. But when Sabrina and Stephanie decided to switch back, Sabrina breaks her leg and the deception has to continue. The switching of identities from week stretched to a month, and what had begun as a lark ended in passion and tragedy as Sabrina fell in love with her sister’s husband and grew to love their two children as her own, and Stephanie doesn’t mind that because she has started an affair with powerful member of London society which is Max Stuyvesant. Nor Stephanie was upset when Sabrina confesses that she could not say no when Garth wanted to make intimate love. In that situation, the longer Sabrina lives with Garth, the more she falls in love with him. Garth feels also that he is falling in love with his life all over again. But one accident changes their whole life; Stephanie was killed when her lover’s yacht explodes. Sabrina cannot bring herself to tell everyone that it was really Stephanie who died. The body of Stephanie was identified by her ex-husband…Denton while the remains of Max Stuyvesant were missing and presumed death. Sabrina was ravaged by loss and remorse. But the truth is that Stephanie is not actually did but suffering from amnesia. Max decided his identity including Sabrina’s personality and named Sabrina Lacoste in order to save their lives. They started their new life in Cavaillon, away from everything and hide in black market because Max Stuyvesant was a member of smuggling group. After the buried of Stephanie, the whole story started to twists around when Sabrina’s friend named Gaby told her that he saw her in France but in fact, Sabrina had lived in United States the whole time. So, she decided to go to France to find out the truth. On the other hand, Stephanie decided that she needs to break up with Max because she was unhappy. But when she met Leon her life became meaningful and happier. When Sabrina was in France, she finds out that her twin sister was not actually dead. Sabrina feels that the past and present collide, threatening to shatter her new happiness.
In the end, Stephanie sacrifices her own happiness… her children and decided to lived and spend her life as Sabrina Longworth with Leon. She chose to become an aunt … a good aunt to her own children even if it was hard. While Sabrina became Stephanie Andersen forever, living with her adorable children and loving husband- Garth. So, the game was never meant to get out of control. Neither of them dreamed how easy it would be to get lost in a maze of deceptions.
Lessons To Learn
The most valuable things in life are not measured in monetary terms. The really important things are not houses and lands, stocks and bonds, automobiles and real estate, but friendship, trust, confidence, empathy, mercy, love and faith. This means that we have to be satisfied with what we have and that envy can have heartbreaking results. So, contentment is a pearl of great price, and whoever procures it at the expense of ten thousand desires makes a wise and happy purchase. Because being contented in what you want, but the realization of how much you already have or in other words try to be like the turtle –at ease your own shell.
Another lessons learned in this story, is that of making sacrifices and letting go. Letting go is one of the hardest lessons in life. When you’ve formed an attachment to people and things, it can be a very painful experience and feeling of not having that person or thing in your life just squeezes your heart in pain. However, there are times where you or that person has changed to the extent that it’s necessary to let go of the relationship or friendship, so that each of you can fulfill your life path just like happened in the story. Letting go of your family members doesn’t mean giving up, just like in case of Stephanie and her children, but rather accepting that there are things that cannot be. Because sacrificing doesn’t always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go. According to Isaiah 53:7 which states that “he was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers it dumb, so he opens not his mouth. In other words, there are things that we never want to sacrifice, people we never want to leave behind. But keep in mind that sacrificing go isn’t the end of the world; it’s the beginning of a new life.
A Must Read…
A Tangled Web is a fictional novel written by Judith Michael that is about love, tragedies, consequences, fate and deceptions. Aside from that, it raises an important issue that is needed by everyone. It also touches every aspects of our daily routine in the most amazing way. This book could not put it down or asleep all night or just have spare moment because this story is full of suspense, surprises, love, fears and cries. Additional to that, “A Tangled Web” is a rare, sappy love story, with an intricate plot that includes humor, love and well story background.  We need also to read this story because the plot twists are great including the development of each character. Read through it as it brings you to tears and definitely puts a smile on your face while thinking that love always seems to create so many tangles, but in fact there is usually a single thread that can be pulled to make everything clear.

A Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Movie Review

A. Characters
1.       Nam (Baifren Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul)
Nam was a plain-looking, dark-skinned teenager or in other words she was an ordinary and typical fourteen years old high school girl. She wears nerd eyeglasses and braces that is why she teased her by other schoolmate as “ugly duckling “. She was secretly in love with an older guy named Shone. She was very in love and going fanatical with him. However, she is well aware that she is not the prettiest of the bunch, but she doesn’t give up easily. In spite of she has slim chances of being noticed by Shone because of her physical looks, she continue to pursue her goal to change her image and appearance with the help of her true friends. She tries everything to make herself beautiful and outstanding in school, hoping that Shone will like her someday, she was also followed the methods and advice in a love book. There was a time on the film that Nam’s friend tried to make her skin whiter but as a result it turned out so yellow that Shone asked Nam if she had jaundice. But her determination to become beautiful had paid off when she became one of the prettiest and smartest girls in their high school. Aside from improving her appearance, she also joins a stage drama as Snow White and lands spot as the leggy drum majorette leading the marching band. She sets hearts aflutter, including Shone’s best friend.
2.       Shone (Mario Maurer)
Shone was a grade 10 student and probably the most popular student in high school. He was adorable, perfect and generous and that’s what makes girls go crazy about him, including Nam. Aside from that, Shone is a rumored troublemaker and a photography enthusiast. He easily becomes a popular student in school because of his good looks and soccer-playing skills. Despite this, he often teased by some of his schoolmates because his father didn’t score the penalty kick and made of his schoolmates because his father didn’t score the penalty kick and made their province lose in a national football cup. There is a part in the story that Shone said to Nam the story of two squids and say’s that once upon a time there were two squids, they had traveled until they met each other, then they fell I love. They became couple, finally they got married. On the day of marriage, squid priest told them to hold hands. So, they held each other hands, held hands, held hands and held hands. It shows in that part how Shone is truly romantic and hides his feelings with Nam because of some circumstances.
3.       Pin (Kachamat Pormsaka Na- Sakonnakorn)
She was the girl classmate of Shone who defended Nam from bullies particularly Faye (Yanika Thongprayoon). She was also a good friend of Nam. However, Nam was shocked when Pin and Shone had a relationship. So, Nam gets heartbroken and wearingly wished Shone and Pin the best.
4.       Top ( Acharanat  Ariyaritwikol)
He was the best friend of Shone since they were in elementary grades. So, the bonds and ties between them were not ordinary. Top and Shone promised to one another that they couldn’t fall in love with one girl like what they did during their elementary grades. When Top reveals that he is falling in love with Nam, Shone sacrifices her feeling that is why Top and Nam had a relationship.
5.       Inn (Sudarat Budtporm)
She was the English teacher of Nam who indirectly helped Nam in her transformation from an ugly dark-skinned girl to a beautiful and alluring swan. Aside from this, she was also domineering but comical teacher that fell in love with Aorn (Pijitra Siriwerapan).
B. Conflict
The conflict of the film revolves around Nam- Nam’s undying love for Shone. That is why she decided to change her physical appearance in order for her to be noticed.
But when Nam had the courage to confess and reveal her genuine and pure love for Shone that she kept for three years. Nam said that she done everything. She changed herself in every aspect because of Shone…she followed the advice in love book, applied for a classical dance club, played a stage drama, be a drum majorette, be better at studying because of Shone. But she know for now that the thing that she should do the most , and should have done since a long time ago is telling him straightly that … she love Shone. However, upon seeing a note in Shone’s shirt that Shone and Pin are in a relationship, she gets heartbroken and sweepingly wished Shone and Pin the best. She even fell in the swimming pool because of disappointment. But in truth, Shone has also feeling with Nam. In that event, her close friends are the one who comfort her because as the saying goes “a true friend is someone who helps you when you’re down and if they can’t they lay down beside you and listen”. After that heartbroken happening in Nam’s life, she decided to let go her feeling for Shone when both of them has to part their ways for college.
C. Theme
The theme stresses on the beauty of first love, friendship and sacrifices. How the beauty of love can change the physical appearance of Nam from ugly duckling to a beautiful and irresistible swan. And how can shone and Nam reveal their feeling …their true love with each other despite of obstacles and struggles that they had undergone. It also shows in this movie that “It is a lot sweeter the second time around” when Nam and Shone met after nine years. Moreover, the theme also revolves in the decision of Nam and Shone to separate or seek time apart when they were in college to sort out their feelings or deal with external obstacles to their being together. Additional to that, friendship and sacrificing are also the theme of the film. When Shone sacrifices her own feeling in order to save their friendship. How can strong the bond and friendship between Top and Shone. Furthermore, how can Nam handle to let go her feeling in the name of LOVE because sometimes being a friend means mastering the art of timing ;there is a time for silence . A time to let go and allow people to hurl themselves into their own destiny; and a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it’s all over.

D.  Common Flaws
1.       The flow of the story was little fast. There were some events that were shown to give more details of the whole film. Some lacked information that would be very important to make it clearer and understandable just like the nine years gap of what happened with their lives and the explanation of the black book. With the absence of such events, it would be up to the viewer to figure out or research when or how it happened.
2.       During the television appearance of Nam and Shone after nine years, probably even better if they included a little teaser at the end showing what happened in that particular event. I didn’t like the fact that Nam improved herself solely because of a guy. There is much more to woman empowerment besides impressing a guy of their interest. Lastly, the film showed that in order to be more beautiful you have to be whiter. This is rampant distorted concept of beauty here in the Philippines, and also in Thailand.
E. Five Values in Life Depicted
1.       Friendship
2.       Contentment
3.       Determination
4.       Hope
5.       Sacrificing
F. Meaning of the film’s ending
It tells that even though you let go him, it doesn’t mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go just like Nam when  she decided to let go her feeling with Shone when both of them has to part their ways to college. Nam didn’t bow her head in  sadness, instead she keep her head up high and gaze into heaven for that is where her broken heart has been sent to heal. Always remember that there are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind. But keep in mind that letting go isn’t the end of the world, it’s the beginning of a new life.
Moreover when the television appearance of Nam and Shone after nine years had come. Nam asked Shone if he had been married, Shone replied that he had been waiting for someone from United States. So, after Nam let go Shone, in the end they were the one who met each other. If true lovers have undying love for each other… they can wait even days, weeks or years in order to fulfill the promises that they shared.
G. Meaning of the Film’s Title
“A Crazy Little Thing Called Love” means that the everlasting and eternal love of two teenager students in spite of many obstacles and struggles that their relationship had undergone. The fulfillment of the dreams of an ordinary and simple teenager girl named Nam to her heartthrob crush – Shone. The title came from Thai film entitled Sing Lek Lek Riak Wa and directed by Puttipong Promsaka Na- Sakonnakorn and Wasin Pokpong. This is a romantic Thai movie that can surely make you fall in love, a movie that can bring back the memories of our sweet first love and a movie that will claim a lot of our tears. It can also make you smile and laugh and a movie about life, love, friendship, loyalty and teenage love rolled into one.
The title is related to high school… signing each other’s shirt’s and scraps books. Furthermore, the title is about love. Because everyone has someone who is hidden in the bottom of their heart and when you think of that person, you feel like there’s always a little pain inside. But you still want to keep that person. Even though you don’t know where he\she is today, what he\she is doing, we know that he\she is the one who taught you this. A crazy little thing called love.

For My Moo ;") Love,love,love! ♥

Ako’y gaya nga ng dalagang mahinhin,
Pili ng binatang aking iibigin,
Idurugtong ngayon sa puso’t damdamin,
Kasiping habang buhay magpahanggang libing!

Hindi mauubos ang tinig ng dibdib,
Kasama sa hinga nitong iyong bibig,
Kusang iluluwa sa lupang daigdig,
Kahit na ang tibok ay luhang pumintig!

Halika’t kumapit tayo’y maglalayag,
Sa mundong wala pang doo’y tumatapak,
Kumapit mabuti at tayo’y lilipad,
Sa langit ang tungo na magkaliyag.

Iyong mga ngiti ay lagi kong dala,
Sa gabi at araw, ako’y sumisigla,
At kung malungkot sa mga problema,
Hahagurin ng tingin ang mukhang maganda!

Love Letter for My Only One ;">

You are my only love. You have me completely in your power. I know and feel that if I am to write anything fine or noble in the future I shall do so only by listening to the doors of your heart. ... I love you deeply and truly, Nora. ... There is not a particle of my love that is not yours. ... If you would only let me I would speak to you of everything in my mind but sometimes I fancy from your look that you would only be bored by me. Anyhow,  my only one, I love you. I cannot live without you. I would like to give you everything that is mine, any knowledge I have (little as it is) any emotions I myself feel or have felt, any likes or dislikes I have, any hopes I have or remorse. I would like to go through life side by side with you, telling you more and more until we grew to be one being together until the hour should come for us to die. Even now the tears rush to my eyes and sobs choke my throat as I write this. Nora, we have only one short life in which to love. O my darling be only a little kinder to me, bear with me a little even if I am inconsiderate and unmanageable and believe me we will be happy together. Let me love you in my own way. Let me have your heart always close to mine to hear every throb of my life, every sorrow, every joy.
